Celebrating One Year Of The Power Word: Gold Guide

Exactly one year ago today we put The Power Word: Gold Guide up for sale.

Asking people for real-world money was a big change for Power Word: Gold. It was first step in an effort to move Power Word: Gold toward profitability.

Over the previous year we have learned a lot by selling the guide. We have learned about selling products online. We have learned about distribution. We have learned about about pricing. We have learned about marketing. We have learned about customer support.

Most of all, however, we have learned to appreciate the community.

We want to thank each and every one of you who has shown your support for the blog, podcast and livestream by purchasing The Power Word: Gold Guide.

Your support has meant the world to us. Thank you.

  1. I really like having a podcast show up in iTunes, I can see when something new arrives, I can see which ones I have listened to and I can listen to them on my schedule.

But I thought I would at least try your twitch. I download the twitch iPad app. I entered "power word" in the search bar, it found nothing. I come to this site and nowhere does twitchtv even show up. A control-F found the URI behind the "livestreams" link. I search for jimyoukin in the search box in the upper left of the twitch app and it does not find anything.

    1. *jimyounkin & jim younkin did not work. I guess I can only find or subscribe when you are livestreaming?

    2. Try and once you're signed into Twitch lok for a purple "Follow" button. Also you can click the "gear" in the lower right under the video and select "Follow" from the menu.

I believe the app only snows live channels so you may have to follow me in a browser.

I also changed the label in the website navigation to "". I go back and forth on what to call it since I'm not sure is well known enough.
