Official: Sep 25, 2012 Mists of Pandaria Launch Date

It’s official: Mists of Pandaria is launching Sep 25, 2012. (Learn more about the launch, pre-sale,  "Digital Deluxe Edition" and more in this Blizzard blog post.)

Looks like I was a bit overly pessimistic in my guess of November as the launch date. Now we all get to do mental gymnastics to figure out how the launch will fit into our lives in September.

(It is interesting to note that September is very early in the year compared to the previous two expansion's release dates.)

How do you feel about the timing of the September 25 release date? Too soon? Not soon enough? (I especially want to hear your conspiracy theories!)

Captured Pets Not Tradeable in Mists

Tailswish alerted me to a blue post link over at MMO Champion that states that all pets captured as part of the Pet Battle system will not be able to be caged, traded or sold. This may have large implications for gold-making surrounding pets and pet battles in Mists of Pandaria.

Ink Purchase Distribution Calculator To Help You Stockpile

Today on the livestream I wanted to know how many of each ink I should be buying to properly stock up for Mists of Pandaria.

I knew some inks were used more than others and had been given numbers of inks needed to craft one of every glyph currently in the game by a livestream viewer. What I needed was a tool I could enter how many inks I wanted to buy and have it tell me how many of each ink type to purchase to keep the proper distribution of inks.

6 Hour Mega-Stream (With Kitty!)

While we normally keep all of our recorded livestreams confined to our Power Word: Gold TV section every once and a while we have a stream that is so epic is seems to never end.

"Weekend Warriors" - Will They Pay More?

If you've been making gold in World of Warcraft for any length of time it can be easy to fall into familiar routines. You log on each day and post the same items for the same prices day-in day-out. When you are making a steady income it can be easy to rest on your laurels and let yourself coast.

That is how I've been running my level 77-80 Cataclysm item markets. Same items. Same prices. Day after day. Luckily for me I was able to discuss the 77-80 market with Jamie, Shannon Lasell and Farli on one of Shannon's livestreams. They opened my eyes to new ways to run the market.
