How To Enter Raids All By Yourself
Many of us like to farm old raid instances. The only problem is that you need to be in a raid group with another person in order to enter raid instances. for In this 5 minute video I go over how to use Blizzard's free "Starter Edition" accounts to enter the instances all by myself without help from others and without paying for a second account.

Use /run SetAllowLowLevelRaid(1) to make a raid with a lv1 character. No need for a lv10!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful command to know! This will make farming on other servers much easier.
DeleteOh you.
DeleteNice walkthrough. I just added my account under another email, I wasn't aware you could have multiple on one battlenet account. Good to know.
ReplyDeleteAlso, remember that for farming Molten Core, you do not need to be in group to convert to raid. Just walk right in...
MC does a soft reset every few hours on trash mobs, and it takes about 30 min to run through and mush em to a pulp. There are a few transmog pieces that drop there (I think blizz wants me to have Hero's- I get a piece per run) so it's a viable farm.
You might want to check your AH for Fiery and Lava Cores due to the change, it seems there are quite a few farmers and they are less than a gold each on most servers... If you are a crafter, thats' good news. Buy em cheap and craft your MC BoE's!

Can't watch videos... :-/
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to stay in a group once you're in the raid instance.
ReplyDeleteyeah forget all that just do /run SetAllowLowLevelRaid(1) miracles
ReplyDeleteThat was what Daimyoh was saying above. Good to know. Will have me a bit of leveling time.
DeleteAlso you can log off the starter edition character and it will remain in the raid.
ReplyDeleteAn offline character won't leave a raid unless you make it.
Now it is MoP time, and neither the lvl 10 starter edition char nor the /run... work. do they for you?
ReplyDeleteI don't have my starter edition anymore and haven't done this ins MoP so I can't say.
