As reported by Cold there is a chance the Sinister Squashling may become Bind of Equip (BOE) in patch 4.3. If this does indeed happen then there will be a market for selling the pet on the auction house.
Read on past the jump to find out more about preparing to profit from this potential change.

When I first considered making a set of videos related to gold making I knew I wanted to first focus on demystifying the process. There is a divide between those that will make money and those that will never have a large amount of money despite many options being added making it easier. More details after the jump.

We also know more about the Tome of Burning Jewels. It will also be sold by the vendors and cost (4) Illustrious Jewelcrafter's Tokens. I will allow the discovery of a random epic gem pattern. Follow after the jump where I give my thoughts on the new info.

What started as a way to fund my many alts ended in a quest for more.
I got on my gold making kick off and on during Wrath of the Lich King. I wanted the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth so, like anyone else without direction, turned to farming. I sit at the keyboard grinding countless mobs for a few greens and Frostweave Cloth thinking their has to be a better way. Read how after the jump.
Blizzard announced today that they are going to be selling a pet for real money that can be traded (BOE). I just wanted to take a few minutes to comment on this latest offering from the Blizzard Store and what it may mean to the future of World of Warcraft. Read on for more.
Owing to current and upcoming real-life circumstances as well as a recent decline in my available World of Warcraft playtime I've decided to put Power Word: Gold into a sort of "Low Power" mode for now.
This means posting will be done on an "as needed" basis. When something strikes my fancy or I feel is important to the readership I'll post.
The podcast will also be done on an "as needed" basis. I won't be doing podcasts on a regular schedule but instead putting them together as needed.
I will still be reading other gold-making blogs as well as maintaining The World Of Warcraft Gold Blog Directory and the Community Gold-Making Milestones. If you have a gold-making blog with 6+ posts and want to be added to the Directory or have a gold-making milestone you'd like added please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I don't have any definite timeline on when Power Word: Gold may shift back into "Full Power" mode but when that time comes I'll be sure to let everyone know. Until then you'll still be hearing from me from time to time.
I plan to stay fairly active on twitter and facebook for now so please feel free contact me there with any questions, comments, news or info.

Apologies for going a little off topic but we all lost a shining example of excellence today.
On the Apple website announcing Steve Job's passing was the following: If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences, please email email@example.com.
Below is what I wrote to Steve.
I came to really know and love Apple right after you had come back to the company. The iMac was so much more than any other computer I'd seen in my life. It was just "right". Since then you continued to build product after product that inspired my and changed my life.
More than anything you showed that excellence is possible if only you believe and are dedicated to making the absolute best product you can.
My life will forever be changed by your example and I hope to live up to that example.
You will be missed but not forgotten Steve.
While the ache I feel in my heart for the loss of Steve will take a while to pass the fact that even right up until the end he was leading by example will be something I will remember for the rest of my life.
