  1. Hehe Faid pronounced it right :P

Also I got like 3/4 of my results after the ad ran on WoW Insider, it wasn't just gold forums (it ran in the WoW Insider Classifieds)

  2. I'm glad you got Eluniar on the podcast, he was very good. I'm going to stock up on extra blackened dragonscale for 4.3 on his recommendation. It was very interesting to hear his approach to crafting with leatherworking. So refreshing to hear someone in warcraft (I suppose it doesn't help that I'm on Dath'Remar, an Oceanic server) that actually understands how tipping is supposed to work. I'm not surprised that he has gained a reputation and is tipped well. I'm probably one of those people that will tip more than your average fee if given the opportunity.

As an altoholic, I might not have my finger on the pulse here... but when Chaos Orbs go BoE, there are going to be a TON of them available. There are sooo many engineers and tailors out there that have been quietly collectingn orbs and stashing them away. Right now if you pay 500g for an orb, I'm predicting they will be down as low as 50g very quickly, and the cost of resultant BoEs will drop by more than 1500g. I say more than, because those 365 blacksmithing weapons and 378 BoEs will be competing against 378 drops from 5 mans (rather than being BiS for a large portion of the population). In either case, I'm looking forward to burning through a whole ton of truegold to sell BoEs to people looking to gear up for the new content.

I can't wait to see what happens with Living Embers. At the moment they are as low as 600g on Dath'Remar... I think they will actually increase in value after the patch. While the gear they are used for crafting will slowly become obsolete, I think the supply will dry up faster than the demand... particularly with the raid finder feature making it much easier for casual raiders to participate in the current content rather than the previous tier.

I had a good chuckle when you described Markos style, and your journey into gold blogging. While I'm not a gold blogger as such, the drama in this community is something that has held me back from participating... particularly some of the drama of late, which was a little hard to digest. However, I've decided at the very least can dump some giant walls of text on my favourite bloggers blogs (particularly those my BS meter tells me are genuine) and see what happens.

    Thanks again for the show.

  3. @Borgthor Thanks for your comments. If you ever decide to write any of your gold-making advice down in long-form I'd love to have you guest post here on Power Word: Gold. Send your guest posts/post ideas to powerwordgold@gmail.com.

  4. @Borg I agree! The drama is childish and i'm glad i've missed the latest months. What's important is supporting the ones that stick to the plan; Making gold and spreading good vibes.

Start a blog and write your own ideas on things. Would most likely be good for the gold community.

@PW:G Haven't listened to any podcasts for months, but it seems like something within me wants to know what's going on.

Good gold stuff as always and since i'm inactive in-game I listen more for other kinds of discussions. Ie. wow crusher. Very interesting and go go Faid!!

Keep em coming, i'll be backtracking, since I miss Jokinee. The 1 hour length fits my super-slacky-non-wow-playing-listening-style perfectly.
