Introducing The Power Word: Gold Guide Free

The New Guide Is Live!
I am proud to introduce The Power Word: Gold Guide Free (pwgguidefree.blogspot.com) a 100% free version of The Power Word: Gold Guide - How to Make Gold in World of Warcraft.

Please take time to read and enjoy the guide. It will teach you all the basics you need to know to get started making gold in World of Warcraft.

While we are still in the early stages of development for the guide we wanted to get the bulk of what we have out to you so that you could start using it now.

Special Thanks
Thanks and credit goes to Bangkok Bill who wrote a large percentage of the guide's initial content. All proper rights to the content presented in this guide's initial iteration have been acquired by fluxdada from Bangkok Bill. The guide and its contents are Copyright © 2011 Jim Younkin (AKA fluxdada). All rights reserved.

We're excited to take what we have so far and build upon it as we work to enhance and refine the guide. While there may come a time when we will produce a paid version of the guide this free version will remain free forever.

Help Us Improve
While the guide is still in its "alpha" stages now all the important content is there and ready to be used right now. We will continuing to work and refine the content/presentation. There may be formatting oddities etc. in the guide as it stands at the moment. We will be working to solve most of those in the future.

We encourage you to send us feedback on what you like about the guide and ways you think it can be improved. Send all feedback to powerwordgold@gmail.com.

  1. We love this! Free information is the whole reason we started our blog in 2008. Keep up the good work, will link to it soon!

  2. Commendable effort Flux, I haven't had chance to fully indulge in the guide yet but it appears you have the most prominant topics covered. From a quick skim I might suggest including more images/media/audio clips to break down the monotony of text at times, but I'm sure you are conscious to save this material for the blog or possibly the paid variant?

Anyway, love the blog, keep up the good work!

  3. I believe on one of the podcasts he said if there would be a paid version it would probably have all the extra images and videos while the plain text version remained free. So that might be why it doesn't have an indulge of those yet. I dunno though as I haven't had the chance to check it out. It's great to offer it in any format though :)

  4. @Shamalot Images are included in areas where the are most needed (addon sections for example).

Plans are to refine the text over time on the free version and to create a "value-added" paid version sometime in the future. The paid version will most likely include additional content beyond what's included in the free version.

  5. Great work with the guide! I did a quick look through and there seems to be some great content. The TSM Guide is especially helpful for those starting out, and saves other bloggers from creating how-to posts as well. I look forward to digging in more in the coming weeks.
